Very nice shot James! You must be very fast with your camera, you always shoot them before they notice you. ;-)
Thanks! I try to be fast but I still get noticed a lot. :-)
Good shot James; attractive lady to go with the book title - and nice to see someone looking at a book instead of a smartphone. By the way, what lens do you use for these shots?
Thanks John. For this shot I used a Canon 50mm 1.4 on a Canon EOS 500D which I think is a 1.6 crop factor. If I remember I'll start to add the lens info in my posts.
So, what happens when you do get noticed? :-)I don't quite know what I like best, perhaps the hot coffee cups... :-)
Good shot James. You got that shot without a smartphone before I did. Well done
Une jeune femme qui lit un livre .. Pas de iPhone, smartphone, ni tablette. Elle s'est trompée de siècle, comme moi ! :o)
She looks like she is in a whole other world. What a great image!
Ah, I agree with Mersad!! A whole other world indeed!! Such a terrific capture, James!!!
Great look of engrossment in the book, well done.
Nicely done my friend!
She would be so very pleased with this photo - it's wonderful!
Beautiful candid portrait. There is so much to love about this image, most of which has been said above. The book title fits the subject too. How wonderful of you to notice this moment.
Coucou James, tu viens bientôt ?????
J'espère bien. En décembre!!!
Yes, yes, yes, yes (doing happy dance!) Dates?
Great ! Just great with the framing her face! So you will be off to France in December? WHERE?
I am the author of this book! And I love this photo so much! I'd never seen it before -- I have a new book coming out in October, and was looking for images of the last book to give the web designer. Merci, James!
Thanks! I hope your new book does well. :-)
