A Little Man the Mirror

Newtown, Pennsylvania

I shot this through a window at night and I captured unwanted reflections. The boy's face in the mirror was what I was trying to capture. It's hard to do without being noticed.

  1. Nice job. Those unwanted reflections define how you were taking the image through a window. I think they add context.

  3. Very natural, this shot... Well done James, you are so right ; it is hard not to be noticied, and it is even harder when you take pics of children : people thinks instaniously that you're a pedophile, since you are taking picture of a kid that is not yours. :(

  26. Boys often dream of cars, so the car reflection in the window is perfect. Your photo has a number of levels of reality and the reflections, including the one you first saw, add to the strength of the image.

  29. Malgré un sujet simple , la photo est très puissante . Elle me fait penser à l'Amérique des années 50/60. Je trouve extraordinaire qu'il y ait encore d'aussi beaux salons de coiffures , avec ces grands fauteuils .
