Walking in the Rain

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Sometimes it's best to follow a determined leader.

  1. All that the mom in me sees is how wet/dirty the bottom of those sweats are going to get!! Love the pop of the red jacket, and the choice to keep the red fire sign detail in the shot. One of those perfectly ordinary moments captured so well!!

  2. I love the "determined" stride of the young one! And definitely wet/dirty sweats by the end of the day -- or sooner!! Great composition as always, James, and yes, an ordinary moment perfectly captured!! Hope your week is going well!!

  5. :-)

Now, did you just stand there under a brollie waiting for something to happen, like a red raincoat to match the fire thingy or did it just happen?

    1. I was across the street walking in the opposite direction when I saw them, then I waited for them to be in the right place.

  10. Sometimes , it's best to let determined people go forhead, and to stay a little behind, to wait and see what they'll do... :o)

  21. Great rhythms: the strides, the graphic "simplicity," the shots of red, and that subtle grid on the back wall.
