Manhattan, New York
The title is in reference to the old Superman TV program from the 1950s, "Look! Up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman!".
For me, it should be, "Look where you're walking" because I slipped on ice and hurt my neck and head. I still like cold weather but I have to remember to be careful because I'm not Superman. :-)
Brilliant shot capturing a wonderful regard d'un enfant.
ReplyDeleteAre you ok?
I guess if you are sitting and typing about your fall, it was not TOO bad, thank God!
ReplyDeleteFalling down is always painful and so aggravating and embarrassing (as I remember well).
Hope you were not photographing at the time.
Hundreds of Israelis fell and broke bones in our recent snowstorm.
Be well and safe, James.
J'adorais faire du patin à glace quand j'étais plus jeune. J'ai arrêté, trop peur de me casser quelque chose.
ReplyDeleteLa photo est superbe!
et j'espère que tu ne t'es pas refait mal à ton dos..
Take a good care of you!
Haha...yes please do take care :)
ReplyDeleteNice shot...
Love this very creative and artistic picture! Well done James!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, perfect shot!! And a good reminder!! Thanks for the smiles to start my day, James!! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteShots like this make me think of the paintings by LS Lowry - his stickmen. Google him and you'll see what I mean.
ReplyDeleteAmazing shot! Love the blurred effect on the rest of the image!

ReplyDeleteGreetings
wow that is a fantastic shot. I have to look at the ground when I'm walking too :D
ReplyDeletewow, such great shot!
2 fois en 6 semaines, c'était trop, of course !
Like the way you played with the shutter speed, and how the boy stands out. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what he's doing, but I do know it's a really nice photo. Everybody else in the photo is in motion because of that he's the only one in focus.

ReplyDeleteOh Wow! My mind is busy making up my own story to explain what stopped only that one skater and froze him, in obvious amazement, right in their track! I see your timing is as split second as ever!
ReplyDeletewell done!
ReplyDeleteI like the photo. Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture! Hope you feeling better by now. Ice can be bad, I shattered my ankle, falling once. Ever so careful now.
