Kind of Blue

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

When I was trying to think of a title for this post I was listening to Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue'' album, so voilà, Kind of Blue.

  3. Absolutely perfect too! I like the wistfulness and melancholy you seem to have caught (your photos are inspiring me to try b&w more too, they look so good here!).

  4. Which is also how this cloudy weather makes me feel. Nice image and definitely fits the title as well.

  6. Great shot and as you say, evocative of those old characters from the Clarksville Bluestime.

  7. Les rides de ce vieil hommes sont les pages du livre de sa vie, non ?
Combien de souvenirs derrière ses yeux quasiment fermés ?

  8. Yes, yes, yes....and this gentleman looks like a cat who might have an ax and chops and play down to the juke joint. Jazz is way cool-or hot if you know what I mean.
Beautifully processed BW and a rich subject.
