Boehler's Bar & Grille

San Antonio, Texas

You probably noticed that this building is really crooked. Apparently a flood in 1921 knocked it out of shape but it's still holding up after all of these years. I bet after a few drinks people don't even notice that the building is tilted.

  2. Woah, that building looks so fluid, like it took on some of the properties of those flood waters. Reminds me of a scene out of one of those old black and white movies about the south written by Tennessee Williams that I love so much...

  4. Impressive!I have seen some old constructions houses with crooked walls or sloping, mainly in Germany. but nothing like this balcony! Great capture and I love b&w in this image!

  6. Impressive house / bar. Although it's lovely and probably nice to have a cool drink by the balcony, I am not sure I would want to adventure myself in the frail looking balcony. Thanks for the discovery.
