Ça, C'est Mon Paris

Paris, France (Le quai de Montebello)

I'm not sure how it happens but sometimes it feels like I have Paris almost all to myself.

The Weekend In Black and White.

  3. Great B&W of the Quai. Agree with biebkriebels. Looks one of the better shots from the old masters. Nice work James.

  4. oh, I'm actually tearing up a bit. That's the wonder of that place - and I miss it! That sense of anonymity - "alone" at the cafe, or finding a long stretch of sidewalk with no one around...just love this!

  6. I like this! The solitary figure is dwarfed by its surroundings. Beautifully composed.

  15. I have to agree with everyone else. What particularly caught my eye was all the linear elements and textures punctuated by the little circular elements. A very interesting composition to enhance the atmosphere.

  19. Bonjour

  20. It sure seems that way sometimes! You and an unsuspecting random person or two. This photo is one of my favorites James. Not the favorite, but close! I still marvel at the first photo of yours I saw. Do you remember the boy driving the wagon?
