... which must feel so good...
Lucky you! This could be today. De la pluie est prévue...
Such a nice photo, timeless.
Great B&W of the Quai. Agree with biebkriebels. Looks one of the better shots from the old masters. Nice work James.
oh, I'm actually tearing up a bit. That's the wonder of that place - and I miss it! That sense of anonymity - "alone" at the cafe, or finding a long stretch of sidewalk with no one around...just love this!
Really nice photo. This is definitely my cup of tea.
I like this! The solitary figure is dwarfed by its surroundings. Beautifully composed.
Lucky you!Very nice, very French shot! ;-)
Excellent photograph. I like it so much.
Great photo and a beautiful scene of Paris.
Great scene from the banks of the river Seine! Perfect using B&W!
Love this kind of atmosphere where the world is yours to wander freely! Beautiful!
"it feels like I have Paris almost all to myself."I know how that feels...
Oh I just have to get back there soon...why oh why does Perth have to be so far away from everywhere :) tres joli image James.
nice moody capture.
Oh,- this is such a beautiful shot!Wonderful atmosphere, and it looks great in monochrome!:)
I have to agree with everyone else. What particularly caught my eye was all the linear elements and textures punctuated by the little circular elements. A very interesting composition to enhance the atmosphere.
A wonderful image!!
Beautiful capture and lovely in black and white. Just look at those steps rising so steeply. Great perspective. genie
Ah wow! I love this one:) Very beautiful! I love your page header, too.Have a lovely weekend!Scudds x
It sure seems that way sometimes! You and an unsuspecting random person or two. This photo is one of my favorites James. Not the favorite, but close! I still marvel at the first photo of yours I saw. Do you remember the boy driving the wagon?
