What a Great Trip!

Budapest, Hungary (Hungarian Parliament Building)

 Hello.

After over three weeks in five different countries I'm finally home. We stayed in London, Prague,Vienna, Budapest and Paris. Vienna and Budapest were new adventures for me and I enjoyed those places the most. I was particularly impressed with Budapest. What an amazing city! I only spent four nights there but it was clean and beautiful and at night it has a WOW factor. I kept saying "wow" as I looked at the beautiful illuminated monuments and bridges. On top of that it's inexpensive compared to other European cities and it has less graffiti. Plus it's easy to take nice pictures there. This is unedited straight out of my little pocket camera. Except for a tiny bit of cropping. :-)

I made lots of pictures so I'll be posting them for quite a while.

  4. Oh, I know, James, isn't Budapest wonderful at night? If someone mentions a proposed trip there, I tell them to be sure to go out to the middle of the 'chain bridge' at night to get a photo that includes the parliament buildings reflected on one side of the river and the castle on the other.

  9. Um totally wow. And from a pocket camera....double wow. How great to have that tour. I am so out of money but do wish I could travel. Maybe in my next life. Hope all is well. I've been absent-my creativity efforts have been pulled all over and time just not enough. Putting up a reflection or two today.
