Getting Wet in Florence

Florence, Italy
The elderly gentleman was waiting for the bus without an umbrella. Hopefully the bus came or someone shared their umbrella before he got too wet.  It really started pouring so I ended up buying an umbrella for 4euros from a street vendor.

Speaking of rain we finally got some last night but it's still hot. Above 100° degrees at least until the weekend when it's supposed to cool down to the 90°'s.

  2. I like the choice you made of the umbrella in red... It has such a "le ballon rouge" spirit... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiGFcVf34PM)

  3. I do love your capture and composition with the touch of red! Perfect! It's way too warm in Seattle this week, so I'm whining and yearning for fall -- so I can whine about the chilly, wet weather!!! Ah, never satisfied!! Hope your week is going well! Stay cool!

  4. Un décor bien planté, équilibré avec cette ouche de rouge qui le magnifie.

Un peu de mal avec votre nouvelle présentation (j'suis pas douée !)

  5. This shot is amazing, the composition is so clever, so perfect! It seems we see what he is watching, and there is a cool sense of humour, as if the person with the umbrella is going to kick the ball (I know it's not a ball, but you know what I mean)!
And you know how I love your rainy shots, don't you James? :)

  6. Votre parapluie est-il aussi rouge? Cela donne une photo bien intéressante!

    1. QUI VOUS DIT QUE LE VIEIL HOMME EST RESIGNE ET LA JEUNESSE PRESSEE, QUE DE CLICHES . VOS COMMENTAIRES SONT TOUJOURS UN FRANC MOMENT DE RIRE AVEC MON MARI AMERICAIN QUI TROUVE LES FROGGIES TROP DROLES AU DEUXIEME DEGRE N´EST CE PAS .

  8. Love your choices here in post-processing. Such moments are rare! He seems a spectator of life... like an old philosopher...
