Strangers in the Fog

Venice, Italy (On a foggy night)

A few weeks ago on my other blog I mentioned that I wasn't going to be blogging very much until June. I want to mention it here too.   I'll try to stop by and see your blogs when I have some time but life is pretty busy right now. I plan on having more free time in June.

Awesome photograph... the fog, the lights, the people... everything's just perfect in this image, which reminds me of one of those old black&white pictures taken by travel or war journalists.

It was a great idea to keep the background in focus, love it!!! :)

I'll miss your weekly posts.

Amicalement.

James, what a shot to leave us with knowing there won't be so many to enjoy for a while! Classic is an overused word in praise of photos like these, but you've earned it! If I weren't already doing it, this one would make me want to be a photographer. Best wishes to you.

James, this fabulous image will hold us while you're gone. I"ve been really busy with a big project myself and regret I've not gotten around so much either.

Another exceptional image! I love the diffused lighting, and the composition, how the eye moves back into the depth of the photo, and the contrast.
