Apparently not everything is bigger in Texas.
I had a free day while I was in Texas last week so I took a drive. This is one of the interesting things that I saw. It's called the Burger Bar and supposedly they've been serving delicious hamburgers since 1949. The tiny brick building has been there since 1893. Unfortunately I was there too late to get a hamburger and too early for good photography light. I definitely want a second chance for both.

+ the bench is very inviting!
Hope you will find the opportunity to go back.
What a great antique burger and coke sign. Bet the burgers are fine, and hope you get to return during the "golden hour" to shoot what your mind's eye sees.
What a great place! Hope you get to got back and try a burger! I bet it will be a winner! Love that OLD building! Hope you have a great week, James!

Le banc donne une bonne echelle de la taille du batiment!à peine plus grand qu'une roulotte!
Great shots and it doesn't get more American than a burger and coke!
Brilliant captures! And I also like that bench detail! :)

Have a fabulous week****
oh my gosh! too cute! no, i'm not familiar with this fine establishment! :)
I think it's perfect as is, down to the little yellow bucket with mop on the left. This is the epitome of quintessential American road trip photography...
Love these shots James. Really nicely composed.
Despite the timing, they are still great photos James. History, just sitting there. I'm betting that coke and burger sign is worth a lot of money to a collector.
I love old signs like this one. nice pics...
This definitely looks like a joint I need to discover. Thanks for your recent visit to my place. I do love Texas history and photographing historic places.
Very cool!
Wow, how tiny! Maybe next time you'll catch them during grill time!
