James, what a beautiful set of images. I particularly love the first one with the little girl and boy chasing the dove. It is timeless.
Love your first shot James, it's fantastic!!!It's the kind of photo I'd like to see on a exhibition! :)
must be a great place to visit..
Great city and nice shots
Awesome photographs!!! Love the reflections in the second shot and the arrow pointing in the same direction as they boy's headed. Those images are very well framed.
Wonderful clarity in this set. In addition to the comfortable shoes, throw away the map. Venice is the perfect place to get lost.
Little missy seems to be in a serious mood. Love your gorgeous shot of the cathedral!
Your first shot with the kids and pigeons is great. Also love the reflection of the buildings in the canal in the second shot. Thanks for posting these.
Wonderful series! Love the first one! so cute;o)Thanks for sharing, James;o)***Hope you are having a fabulous week****
Ageless, timeless... if I saw these in a book or hanging in a museum, I'd be impressed and want to have them for my very own. Exceptional work in every respect, but I think it is your great sense of timing that is the starting point for these masterpieces.
James, this post is excellent!Congratulations! :)Léia
Great black and white photographs.Regards and best wishes
so beautiful JamesI love the little girl in the top shot, what an expression she has and all those amazing reflections in the canal!!triple wow!!
BonjourDe magnifiques photos de Venise que je ne connais pas. Un jour, peut-être ?Amicalement
"Off season" is a must!
'Morning' - I thought you had been transported back to the 1950s. That's the one which will stick in my head.
Thanks James! I was saving the ZZ Top quotes for the next time I'm down in Mississippi givin' them all my lovin'! ;-)
Great pictures James. The first one looks a bit Henri Cartier Bresson. Well done.
Wonderful shots and beautifully displayed on this page..I loved my Canon Rebel, it had great exposure.
These are beautiful shots of a beautiful place. Love them in B&W
James,As a follower of my photo blog “Cashjocky’s Photos” you may be aware that I have not been posting for some time due to a bout with cancer. I am happy to report that my treatments are now over and I am no longer house bound. I recently took my first excursion (with my camera) back into the world and have posted my first photo’s from that trip. I hope to be able to continue posting a photo a day. I hope that you will check out my upcoming captures and continue to follow my photo blog. Your interest in my humble site is (and always has been) much appreciated. These are beautiful to see. I thought the arrow in the first one was a place to click for a video to start!
They are all beautiful but the top one took my breath. What a wonderful and timeless photograph James.V
I'm sighing both for your photos and Venice! Wonderful images, the first is a storybook and very compelling.
Beautiful shots- especially the first one!
