Venice, Italy
We were lost when I took this picture and this nice cat tried to point us in the right direction, but he was wrong. No problem because Venice is probably the best place in the world to be lost.
In Europe.......................and ..........................In The USA

What a beautiful shot James!
The perfect moment!
Cool shot James! ;-)
A perfect moment indead. Awesome pic.
I love how the cat balances the man in this image. Perfect for black and white.
thanks for the input on lenses. I do have a 50mm 1.8 (cheap but good) and will save for some of the nicer ones I'd like to have. Happy hunting this week.
Interesting sidewalk. I like the contrast of the cat and man!
What a terrific shot, James! Love the cat and his tail does seem to be pointing out the direction -- right or wrong! Hope you have a great week!

Je suis d'accord, Venise est l'endroit idéal pour se perdre..Superbe photo, et joli debut d'histoire: qui suivre? le regard du chat ou les pas du passant?...
i find the best of the best stuff when i am lost...oops, not lost, 'exploring'!!! love this great scene...ahhh, Venice!!!
Brilliant shot James, I love it:)
Funny, was just watching a film today with Katherine Hepburn called "Vacation in Venice"... she got a bit lost there too. May just have to go take a peak one of these days...
What an awesome shot of the alley cats!
As well as the two 'cats', there's also a nice bit of Venetian decrepitude.
That was an awesome time to be lost. Lucky you! Love the title.
El gato es el centro, un detalle? Lo que sé,es que me encantó.

Un abrazo.
Une très belle photo prise au bon moment!

Awesome capture James, this kitty is cute, and you got the "moment", the action, it's so cool!

Oooh nice! Venice is definitely the place to get lost. Especially since you always end up somewhere you recognize (and that it's an island and you can't get far)!
Such a rich image full of great textures, depth, contrasts, and movement. Yet another example of your great timing!
I liked the shot when I first got to the page. When I had to scroll down to see it all, the cat made it an amazing photo! You are the king...
I think the cat was genuflecting to your photography skills, James. ;-) Talk about capturing the moment!
You have the artist's eye James. Great street shot. It's alive!
:) wonderful captured! like the cat jumped before in his back :)
All the foot traffic has woken the cat. Now the cat needs to find a mouse.
Wonderful Picture
Best photo of the day! How did you manage to be there at the exact moment?
Excellente!
