La France Renaissante

La France Renaissante (France reborn) is a statue of Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc) by Holger Wendekinch, it was erected about 80 years ago.

Not much blogging and no picture taking for me because of my sore back. I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow and hopefully get some relief. It's way too nice outside, I need to get back on my feet!

The Chinatown Smoker

At first I just saw bricks, then a hand with a cigarette, then the hand was gone replaced by a puff of smoke. Finally, like a fire-breathing dragon, his face emerged with a cold stare.

It looked like she was playing peek a boo before I realized she was just fixing her make-up.

The Latin Quarter Sweeper

Paris, France (Rue de la Huchette)
This guy seemed like quite a character as wildly swept the ground and loudly called out for restaurant customers. I passed because it looked like a tourist trap but I couldn't pass on the photo.
I think Paris is a wonderful place for street photography because there are so many interesting subjects.
