Sunset Trail

Irvine, California

I don't know the real name of this trail but it looks like it goes down, then up, then into the setting sun. You might be able to see the person walking up the hill if you look closely.  I doubt that I would be able to see her if I didn't know where she was. :)

Awesome photo James!
I don't know the name of the trail, but I'm sure I've hiked it. If I'm not mistaken, that's Fashion island in the distance. right?

Will she get there before dark?
A great shot.

This is the type of image that inspires writers of songs and poems to pen lines like Going Out in a Blaze of Glory, or Riding Off Into the Sunset!

It's like the sky is on fire.

What amazes me about this capture is that the blazing sun did not obliterate the distant urban skyline. Looks like a trail I'd like to walk, but no, can't see the lone hiker (unless it's that little brighter dot about halfway up to the mound top).
