Rue Montorgueil Sous La Pluie

Paris, France

Sometimes I find myself in the theater of life and I just have to wait for the actors to show up and create a scene.

I'd like to draw your attention to the reflection of the red car because this is my post for Weekend Reflections.

Très belle prise!
Une coccinelle rouge! J'adore!
Et le mannequin dans la vitrine, on dirait qu'il a des ailes!

What a great stage you have chosen - I love Rue Montorgueil!! and the actors have shown up on cue. That gorgeous red car is straight out of a movie scene - love it!!

Great street shot James. I think this one would be very nice converted to B&W.

So glad that you braved the rain to wait on this action. I would say that the couple under the umbrella is just the lagnaippe as the whole scene is stunning with that accent of the voiture rouge.

What a fabulous image so rich and full of life, love, warmth, the beauty of rain on a city street. And I must say, the patterns on the street and sidewalk are works of art themselves! And the shots of red throughout are like a dance! I also love your description and think what a marvelous way to approach the creative process, just sit back and let it happen! A good lesson for many aspects of life when action just isn't appropriate. There are always alternatives...

Ah James, did you go back in time for this one, or just photoshop in a car from an ancient era ???

The Theatre of Life, no end of surprises and treats...

Took a little walk in Paris yesterday, thought of you as reflection after reflection appeared like magic...

Indeed, this is a super scene, looks like an Ingrid Bergman movie scene.

Hello, James.

Yes. I am agreeable for you.
Various actors appear to your stage.
And there is the audience, too.

Rain. The road of the stone pavement.
The red passion.

The town is always filled with drama.
The photographer may be a movie director.

The fragrance of Paris...
