I  pass this rose all the time on my walks and I finally stopped to take a picture.

  2. What a beautiful composition! Love roses and love red bricks and the association of both is simply gorgeous!

  5. Funny how the plain brick wall suddenly becomes a lovely backdrop for such an exquisite flower! And a great shadow shot it is, James! Delightful! Enjoy your holiday weekend!

  7. I like the idea of taking a picture of it at night - makes it unusual.

  8. This rose is unique: it seems illuminated by a divine light! In daylight, it is only a rose and this is probably why you usually pass your way without notice it.
    Have a good long week-end!
