Welcome to the adventures of little Alexandre Legris and his train Monsieur Charbon. Mr Charbon is fueled by imagination and Alexandre has lots of it. Today they're probably off to solve a mystery of some sort.
Names of characters and the whole scenery let think of a novel from the beginning of XXth century..are you the reincarnation of a kids books writer?! :o)
I love how you explore new terrain. This is so well done as regards childhood, fairy tales, magic and whimsy. I love the warm tones too. They underscore the message beautifully. An extremely unique image!

This is wonderful James! Very nice.
Alexandre had likely just stepped from the doorway of Musée de Montmartre. Wonderful scene and setting, James.

Mmm, memories of red balloons on Paris streets, childhood and mysterious scenes... beautifully framed, mr James...
An evocative 'Parisian' shot. The sepia effect works on this, usually people overdo it; nice one.
Excellent!
AMAZING ! ! ! <3
Intriguing!
I would see it as a book cover.

Delightful James. Now what was that engine doing on the street? Love the sepia too.

Hello, James
A lyrical back figure.
The color to give the whole expresses the atmosphere still more attractively.
Have a good weekend.
