Blue Light at Night

Balboa Island, Newport Beach, California

I know the meaning of a red light but I don't know if a blue light has a particular significance. Whatever the case I liked the look of the shadows that came from the gate.

We don't have many fancy doorways around here but I submit this as my Midweek Blues and Wednesday Doorway post.

  2. I like the shadows, too. The colored light, awning & shadows fancy-up this doorway quite a bit!

  12. I love the blue and shadowed lines created by the light shining thru the fence! Have you seen the photographs of Todd Hido? If not, here is a link:

  14. This is beautiful, James. The contrast of the fence and shadows is really remarkable and I like how the composition draws you in but bars you at the same time. The blue - stunning! Great work.
