The Running Man and The Robin

ST. Louis, Missouri

I took this shot near City Hall just after sunset. I saw the robin looking at the statue and I asked him if he liked it. Then he turned around and posed for a picture. I didn't think it be any good because this shot took almost three seconds do to low light. Mr. Robin kindly stood still for me however he gave me a puzzled look when I asked him move to his right to add balance to the scene.

  3. It could be that he was more interested in the water than the statue, But then, you never know....

  5. Wonderful photo. I love what the long exposure did to the moving water, and the robin not moving was a serious bonus!

  8. This is amazing, and a little surreal. Layer after layer of textures, subjects and lighting surprises.Glad to know you, James, through your work in Something Sighted.

  10. Great shot. I imagine the robin most perplexed at our human activities, but enjoying the fountain nonetheless. My favorite part is the lights shining thru the cement slats at what must be a parking garage.
