This fountain is right in front of theNeues Rathaus(New Town Hall) in Munich Germany.
The sign says this barn was built in 1825 and there was an addition in 1849. The sign also says that the barn will be restored. I think this might be the biggest barn that I've seen. There were other ruins scattered around the area that made me imagine what it was like when this was a working farm. I bet it was a beautiful place.
This Bronze statue in the Cloisters of the Washington Memorial Chapel was dedicated in 1914 to the grieving mothers of the nation. The chapel and statue are both in Valley Forge Historical Park.
I took this shot of the side of Olde St. Andrew's Church from the cemetery that I mentioned in my last Newtown Area Photo post. I love the way the church is lit up. I think the stained glass would look amazing if one night they lowered these outside lights and turned up the ones inside.
It recently dawned on me that I almost never take pictures at night. So last night I went for a walk and brought my camera. This photo is the space between two old buildings in the main street area of Newtown.

We had one day of perfect weather last week so I took a drive. I ended up in Clinton New Jersey but I made a few stops on the way. This church in Mt. Airy New Jersey was here before the USA was a country. The sign says it was founded in 1754. Old buildings like this spark my imagination. I never saw buildings this old when I lived in California but I've seen much older ones in Europe.
