  9. Hey James, now that is a novel idea, linking from one's own blog to one's other blog... I wonder if one were to create a large number of links between two self owned sites, like to mirrors facing each other, reflecting light back and forth, would it increase one's ranking in Google or other search motors... ? Interesting question...

Anyway, I'm just rambling. I can see you were busy inspecting the gutters at close range.

I think Oscar Wilde was quoted as saying :

"We are all in the gutter,
    but some of us
    are looking at the stars."

    Oscar Wilde

Speaking of Oscar, may he rest peacefully, am not sure if you saw or not, but I did get around to doing a post just a few days ago now about his tomb and the kissing tradition on it... if you have a moment, between reflections, do drop by to see the end result of some of the photos from that fine day in October...

  14. Snow may dance.
I see it in the reflection.

    Snow-white little pieces ...
    In a deep blue sky.
    I find a fantasy.

    "Paris"
    It is a fascinating town.
And may have waited for the time photographed by you.

    Thank you.

  17. I love your pictures of Paris---I found you because I Googled rue Montpensier. We are traveling there next June and I'm looking at an apartment on that street. I wondered if you would share the address where you were--I wonder if it is the same place I'm looking at.

  18. Did you see the french Louis Malle's movie "ascenseur pour l'échafaud"(="Lift for scafhold"), with Jeanne Moreau? Music was made by Miles Davis, he improvised while seeing the film on a screen..As the story is taking place in Paris, I'm SURE you would like it!

  21. You find such different ways to see things. I really like this picture. Seeing things through your lens helps see things from different vantage points than what is comfortable to me and thus I learn new things.

  23. I heard it was VERY cold in Paris last week and got colder from there, so I'm guessing this is one from the archives. So wonderful to see geraniums in the window, even just a reflection of them. Wonderful shot.
