Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge) at Night

This beautiful wooden bridge in Lucerne Switzerland was built in the 14Th century. The church on the right is the 17Th century Jesuit Church.
This is my post for Weekend Reflections and Sunday Bridges.

My previous photo was a hand held shot but this one took 10 seconds. Night time and long exposures are very new to me so If anyone has advice or tips I'm all ears.

Thanks and have a great weekend!.

  35. There is a lot of light. I wonder how they lit the place in the 14th century.

  36. Incredible shot! You can teach us how to do it. What you have is a fantastic eye for composition.
We lived in Hochdorf (20 km north of Luzerne) 20 years ago...we'd go out of our way to cross it whenever we could. A large section of the bridge burned down about 10 years ago and it was fortunately rebuilt and the paintings redone.
