Transition Time

This is the Huntington Beach Pier in Orange County California as day turns to night. Walking around this area at sunset is one of the things that I miss most about home.
I had a great time exploring and experimenting with black and white over the last several months but from now on I'll be posting more color photos.
I'm going to Europe next week and I'll be there for a few weeks taking lots of pictures so I'm changing the theme of this blog from "mostly black and white" to mostly photos of Europe. The photos will be a mix of color and black and white. Hopefully I'll be able to make a few posts while I'm there.
Until I return in mid to late November this will be my final post that's not pre-scheduled.
I pre-scheduled the Weekend Reflections meme on my other blog so have fun and stay tuned. :)
This is my Skywatch Friday entry.

  10. Have a great trip, James! I'll miss your regular posts, but I know you'll bring back some awesome stuff from Europe well worth the wait. I envy you the sights you will be able to absorb and transform. I liked this photo very much, even if it wasn't black and white, and that is saying a lot coming from such a monochromophile! Best to you, and safe travels.
