Beautiful shot James. I love old cemeteries, such wonderful subject matter. The B&W is perfect for this. Great job of capturing the sun's rays peaking through that wonderful tree. Kat
What a great shot of a really great place. So much texture ini this piece. The texture of the tree is especially gorgeous illuminated by the rays of the sun. I always think that area must have been like the movies The Scarlet Letter or The Village. Come to think of it, your photography always brings film to mind for me... Lights, Camera, Action!
What a stunning shot my friend :) Those sun rays are just beautiful in this :) Excellent :)
Great image for a Monday morning! Thanks!Have a great week.Regards from Romania
wow, look at those sun rays! Outstanding!! Old buildings alongside old cemeteries are so photogenic. I photographed an old cemetery at the Taos Pueblo this past week, in New Mexico. It is quite amazing and quite in need of some maintenance. But, I think it is meant to not be disturbed.
I love the light of the sun in that tree, it gave something special indeed in your beautiful picture!:)Léia
James, what an amazing capture. Just wonderful.
I really like this shot.Berit.
Great shot, James - I agree that old cemeteries are so photogenic! The old stones have so much history and character and visually make all sorts of great angles and textures! Perfect for black and white. Have a a great week!
For this part of town, surely not very different!I love your cemeteries, so different from ours..
i see ghosts, spirits, I see dead people!
There is a lot to see in this photo. If your series of B&W is to go to late October that says the end is near. I have enjoyed the series very much but am curious to know why "late October", and what comes next?
Wow! this photo has everything in that I like. Old building? Check!Cemetery? Check! Grave markers? Check! Black and white? Check!really nice James...
Excellent, James - this image would not be nearly so effective in color. Sometimes the monochrome tells the story better than color, this is one of those times.
James...what can I say. This is a great shot! The sun flare...the cemetery, the lighting. Very nice indeed.
I love this photo of the church and cemetary. The light adds another dimension, the hope of after life. Love it. Carla
The obstacle of the old house is the design such as the face of the person. It seems to be time when the atmosphere was confined in a story. Thank you. ruma
