A Strange Metallic Giant in Munich

I'm not sure what it's made of or who it is but it's a very interesting statue.

  8. Whoops. That was me. Made a typo. But...

Oh my word, that statue looks like an alien being from on old Sci-Fi film! He seems to be hovering there half in his own galaxy and half in this one. Like he's either just coming or just going. I've never seen anything quite like it.

  10. It is perfect for black and white! It certainly looks a bit imposing, but, what a great subject to photograph.

  13. Bonjour dear James,
I don't remember about this sculpture, it's very impressive.I think it was not there when I visit Munich, hmmm or I really missed it.Anyway I need to come back, Munich is an adorable city!
*** about the rock concert,in fact we always try to be participative parents, we could not allow Mah to go alone in a concert at night( besides she is almost 17), life nowadays is different from our time, even here in Lux where things are peaceful and so on, but I think it's better to be together, and she really likes our company. It's great! As I said here, I don't know about Cezar, but that concert was a great surprise, those kids are good, I enjoyed the gig a lot, however I was completely "deaf" after the event! LOL
    hugs

  14. PS: Found funny your story about the Recamier! In France, nobody uses that word anymore,a few people still know what it means, and I think strange that you had it in your french book. BTW, would you say it's hard to learn french? Why did you choose that language?
