Crawling Across a Bridge

I guess if you had vertigo it would be better than walking. :)
This is the same bridge that I took the picture of the American flag from for Weekend Reflections # 48. One of these days I'll cross it and explore the island on the other side.

  3. Terrific capture, James! I agree with Thom, it's as though I'm standing there on the bridge. Hope you have a great week.1

  5. This bridge does not look very welcoming, to me. But it is a wonderful shot of its unwelcomness.

  6. A fabulous perspective! I think I would walk just in the middle of the bridge, in order not to see the two sides...:)

  7. I too have the sensation of being right there on the bridge! I would have to run across it, so I wouldn't have to look around me!

  8. All those intersecting lines and shadows make such great patterns and movement. Another highly unique shot! Very dynamic, abstract and structured. I love it!

  9. The convergence of the bascule bridge is attractive.

The shadows seem to express the floatage of the bridge. . .

  10. I'm not sure how I missed this post! What a fantastic picture! I hate to admit that this is probably the position I'd be in to cross, haha!

  11. Oh dear, you get vertigo? I'm sorry to hear that. I can easily conquer the fear of heights, but not the fear of deep, dark, ocean water. I can actually faint in the water.

Love the lines and shadows in this image.
