Bird Watching People

Or should the title be "people watching bird"? Whatever it is this seagull sure seemed to enjoy watching people walk by. I took this on the Newport Beach Pier when we went "home" for a visit last January.

  3. Great shot! I'm awful in photographing birds, they always fly away before I can make a decent shot.

  4. The bird's looking at people who are looking at the bird looking at people....I love it!

  5. Though these birds are boisterous - I just love them to bits. I am one who spoilt them rotten during our holiday at Central Coast. I always will be for as long as they enjoy the feed.

(Please tell Vicky I can't post comment on Embedded Below Post Comment Window, so it's a while I missed on her blog. Thanks a lot. I am a grandma now.)

  6. I used to live quite near that pier years ago. Not as crowded then though.
Whether it is titled People-Watcher or Bird Watching People, the little guy is probably hoping someone will drop a piece of bread. Ha.

  7. Love the title post! The bird shot is beautiful, so clear and vivid!

Hahaha, I would be watching the bird and see how close I can take a shot of her.

    Great in B/W.

  8. Perfect depth of field on this shot James! I also love the composition and tonal range. It works beautifully and is so extremely effective in black and white.
