The look rickety as well. I am so enjoying this black and white project you are doing. There's something about B&W that just makes a photo wonderful. I love the header photo as well my friend. Have a great weekend :)
nice monochrome shot!
nice photo It makes me wonder...where do the steps lead?who built them and why?how old are they?
...and I'm building a stairway to heaven.Sorry but that song popped into my head when I saw this wonderful picture.I really love your B & W shots. Sunny :)
Hhhhuuummmmm..... shall I go up there?
Uh-oh those look rather treacherous. Wonderful photography. Have a good weekend.
I'm telling you, this is another gem, not of this time. It seems as though you'd walk up that stairway and be transported from the dark out of focus foreground (the present) to a magical mythical future full of light.
Steps like that are really hard to climb. They are made for tall people with long legs! Nice photo though.
Truly gorgeous. Love the black and white work that you have been doing.
Here, such steps are built in places where the people cut the trees, and then use such steps with sleighs to bring the trees in the valley. The interesting detail in your picture is the fence at the end of the stairs..Once more , it could be the entrance of a strange world , of an enchanted place..Have a nice week-end!
Such a perfect black and white! I would need my hiking stick to muster up the courage to climb those! HA! I love how the steps make a sweeping curve upwards!
Yes they are! Huffing and puffing.
And where do they lead to? Very mysterious....We just visited Acadia National Park and had to climb 52 steps to the Visitors Center, whew!
I like this kind of path in the woods!God bless you!Cezar
Indeed they are steep .. nicely shot James
I like all the little white dots (flowers I assume) on the side of the steps. Another atmospheric shot!
There is a lovely atmosphere for the scenery.
But so pretty! And it looks like they end at a bench with (I imagine) a beautiful view.
