  1. There is definitely sense of loneliness, emptiness and the photo captures it very well! Have a great weekend, James!

  2. Can't tell it if is monochrome or color. Wonder what that says about the water. Yes, indeed, seems to catch a mood of feeling a bit down.

  3. The shot does capture that mood...but, I am wondering if you were there alone and possibly enjoying the tranquility in a positive way? Maybe we are misreading the mood?

  8. Beautiful light reflection. Is this an old pier that is sticking up out of the water?

  12. Hi James,
I left a message on Vicki's/Lucy blog but I also wanted to say to you how sad I am to read of Bucky's passing. I have followed his adventures since you first found him and I know how special he was to you both.
He was truly a blessed kitty to be found by such caring people and probably received more love and attention in the short time you had him than he did in his whole life.
May happy memories give you and Vicki comfort.

  18. I see, James. I've had two dogs my self, so I think I know a littlebit how you are feeling. It's loosing a family member... no doubt.

As for my lense, I have a canon 60mm macro. Not the best there is, but it's good enough for me.:)

  19. The reflection of the surface of the water draws striped patterns.
It is a very beautiful natural design.
