  4. I've always liked posters and graffiti, they make a real good subject. And NYC is a great place for a camera.

  5. Warhol, Basquiat, and Leonard Nimoy dressed in Marylin.. At least, the graffiti make sense in your country..
A day in the Big Apple?..(sigh..)

  6. I really like the top one, it's almost three-dimensional. The City's a photographer's dream... an endless amount of 'a bit of everything.' And don't stop there, all sorts of treasures await you outside Manhattan as well... like The Cloisters. Should the weather turn bad, you can always nip into The International Center of Photography for a wee squint.

James, how cool, I love ART and I'm enchanted by these beautiful pictures. You have THAT feeling to take fabulous shots! Thanks for sharing!
Ahh As you said once that you like to eat as you like to travel, I'm curious, did you and Vicki have something "special"for lunch time in NY this weekend?Maybe in NY fast food is really the traditional day by day. Anyway I have wonderful memories about FABULOUS restaurants in NY.This city is really outstanding.I want to come back!

  8. All that AND Gluten-free pizza!! Kinda frightening to see Spock looking like the Joker in drag!! Haha! I like graphitti, too...as long as it is original, not crude and not on the wall of my house! (Well, that being said, I get REALLY annoyed at ALL the graphitti there is here in Prague...most of it is just as they say in French 'les tags'...signatures...the equivalent of a dog or cat peeing on a wall...oh so NOT original...the little creeps that have to do that (everywhere: buses, houses, mailboxes, etc.) should have something permanently graphittied on their foreheads. Something like: I'm an Idiot! Sorry, I digress..nice post and glad you had a day of fun in NYC!

  12. Fabulous street art. I have quite a few photos of street art that I've never used on my blog. Don't know *what* I'm waiting for.

Hey...those were faces...that would work on a new meme I just 'happen' to know about. Faces are faces!

    Shameless plug I know...sorry. :)

A really great post James, love seeing street are, and your photo has captured some very colorful work!
