A Puzzling Door in Prague

I think this door isn't far from this equally puzzling sight. There are so many interesting things to be found in Prague. I think that it's a really cool metal door. Sorry about the top part of the door being out of proportion. I should add that I don't have any idea what is behind this door. If anyone knows please tell me.

  4. Not a clue! But...what a gorgeous door. And, I see your sun and moon on it too. I think something important is on the other side, perhaps spooky, but important.
I, too, like how you posted this...

  6. A place dedicated at the same time to arts,( theater, music,) and sciences (astronomy , or maybe astrology) and money (credit letters and merchants)...What a strange place, and a beautyful door, full of mysteries..

Some things are better left unopened, our imagination is sometimes better than the real thing.

  13. It's a very interesting door. Is it copper? It must have taken some time to design.

  14. No wonder you were enchanted with this door. I see some writing in the bottom right on the scroll. Is it a clue to what is behind the door? At any rate, there is so much to observe from bottom with cat, books, mouse, then all the way through to the top. Such a great piece of art.

  18. The copper rust of the door draws solid designs.

Galileo seems to argue with somebody. The story expressed with a sculpture is elegant.

  19. I agree with you, James. There are so many interesting and beautiful nooks and crannies in Prague. No amount of trips could ever exhaust its treasures. I became fascinated with the tatooed facades, gargoyles, and doors like this one. Haven't a clue as to what's behind it though, sorry. But i love the way you captured it. :)
