What a fantastic capture, James! Definitely a stairway to heaven! Beautiful! Hope you've had a good weekend!Sylvia
It's so much more dramatic in mono, nevertheless love the contrast of that blue sky with the res spindles! Lovely capture, James! Have a good week ahead! :)
Was there a song Stairway to Heaven? I love the colors and great capture.
James, what an awesome shot! Beautiful.
This photo made me think of the song "Stairway to Heaven". Very nice.
I believe I like the color better. I like the contrast between the blue sky and the red railings. The light at the top gives the rails a kind of glow. Also the color picture frames both rails as they cimb up to the top which is very nice. The light is what makes this picture, not the texture.
Ooooh, looks different in the light and straight up and down.
The first thing that popped into my head was Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to Heaven'.I love this picture, it makes you want to run up the stairs to see where they really go.Sunny :)
Now that I see the color, I like the colored version. :-)
and...if I get to the top I can fly, right? Beautiful!
Stunning my friend. I liked it in monochrome better I think. But this is splendid. :) Thanks for sharing :) TBK
Really strong lines when shot as the complete stair.
I prefered the B&W version.. It was more inspiring for imagination, more mysterious..
Un commentaire en français! quelle bonne surprise pour moi!! Your french is perfect,et l'accent américain plein de charme! ÜMerci!!
I like this color version too James. It's an entirely different photo in color. Your B&W versions are more abstract especially since you split them. They have a dream like quality. Now I'm wondering what the perspective of your color version would look like in B&W.Thanks for your comments re: the flower bud and wet leaves. I'm still learning how to convert from color to monochrome. It's lots of fun and a challenge to get it "right" (whatever that means). The real secret to good B&W is contrasting tones. How you get there is part of the fun.
I like the color version better than the B&W version. This looks like the stairway to heaven :-) Nice perspective in this picture.
It would have been nice to see the stairs also from the top! Many steps! :-)
When a viewpoint changes, the thing-in-itself seems to change. I may come to see the thing which I did not see till then.
I thought it could be larger! LOLThanks a lot for showing this view. It's a beautiful day there, I'm envious about this blue fantastic! But I think I prefer b&w, more mysterious! :)HugsLéia
This is really a great shot!:-)
Came across an interesting staircase today and thought of you while I took pictures. They didn't come out well because the light was unfamiliar to me so I'll have to go back and try again but with different settings. So . . . you've been an inspiration.Lucy
