I can imagine the old steam engines with black smoke pouring out many years ago.

River Reflections in Prague

Both pictures are of the same stretch of the Vltava River in Prague. This is my entry for Skywatch Friday and Weekend Reflections.
Weekend Reflections is a meme for photographs that have reflections. It's really fun and it's every weekend from Friday 11am eastern standard time to 11pm Sunday EST. Reflections are everywhere it's up to us to find them.

More Stone Faces Staring Back in Prague

I've heard Prague called the city of a thousand spires. I think it could just as easily be called the city of a thousand stone faces. It seemed like every time I looked up, there were faces made of stone looking down at me. The buildings in Prague really are amazing. I wish that I knew the stories behind them.

Piecing Together Another Prague Doorway

For some reason I don't have a complete picture of this doorway just a statue from each side and the center part of one of the double doors. Still it's another example of some of the amazing things that can be found in Prague. These are part of St. Nicholas Church in Old Town Square. You may remember the other interesting door that I posted a few weeks ago.

Some California Benches

A contortionist enjoys the views of Newport Beach or perhaps it's a romantic couple.

A man and his dogs bask in the sun at Fashion Island shopping center in Newport Beach.
This post is dedicated to Malyss the queen of benches.

Happy Valentine's Day

A Huntington Beach sunset and warm embrace.

Holding hands at Laguna Beach
which leads to a dance
then finally the proof of endless romance.
Romance at Huntington,Laguna and Newport Beach. My favorite romance of all is taking place in Newtown, Pennsylvania or where ever Vicki and I happen to be. :)
I guess I should link this to Weekend Reflections because the sun is really reflecting in a couple of these pictures. If you would like to participate in or just look at other weekend reflections just click the link above.

White Rose Memorial

These are stones that have been placed on top of the White Rose Movement Memorial in Munich's Hofgarten. Behind the rocks is a walkway and the white frames that lead to the windows are much farther apart than they appear to be.

Baby Egret adopted by a Pelican Family

When I took this picture I didn't even notice the baby Egret, now I think he's the star of the show. That's pretty cool nest too.

-Note: I changed the title of this post thanks to a couple of astute commenters that caught my mistake.

Old Prague Reflection in the River

I'll end this round of Prague photos with the reflections of these wonderful old buildings on the river. You can see the gentle breeze blowing on the water. I left in part of the railing in the bottom right corner to show the perspective of me looking over and down at the water. Also the same green railing can be seen along the top of this photo.

Weekend Reflections is every weekend from 11am Friday to 11pm Sunday. Please feel free to join us at Newtown Area Photo.

Girls Night Out in Prague

I'm not sure why this picture isn't completely blurry because I think I took it in a split second in mid stride as I passed by this woman and her dogs.

A Puzzling Door in Prague

I think this door isn't far from this equally puzzling sight. There are so many interesting things to be found in Prague. I think that it's a really cool metal door. Sorry about the top part of the door being out of proportion. I should add that I don't have any idea what is behind this door. If anyone knows please tell me.
