  15. Oh, James, this is just terrific. You have ticked all the boxes! I love the focus on the seed, which thows both foreground and background into stark relief. That concrete ledge is a master-stroke, as it provides perspective through the centre. In addition you cover the scale from white to black.

    Wonderful composition. Bravo!

    I have already wished you HNY lots of times, and if this first photo is anything to go by, you will have a corker of a year!!
