The Old Man and the Seagull

I took this shot in Huntington Beach on the day we arrived in Orange County. The setting sun over the water creates interesting lighting. This bird was very good at catching the nuts that the man was tossing. If you enlarge the picture you might be able to see one in it's mouth.

  2. I wonder who is enjoying it more, the man or the bird.

  3. My step son is career Navy with plenty of time at sea. He refers to seagulls as flying rats. They can be quite a nuisance. Nice picture.

  5. I like the light in this picture..It's so beautyful that I'm feeling the heat of it on my face..And I also like the story behind: an old man, feeding birds: that can tell so much things..

  15. Yes. He adds bait to a mouth well.

The scene of an old man and the animal is good at an interesting story.
I cannot express the reason well. However, I can understand somehow.

  16. Beautiful! I am sorry I have not been commenting much lately, but please know I look at each and every post!

Thanks... I am glad I got the job too - it is rather "scary" that I put in over 12 on line applications for similar jobs all at places that were hiring, and in 4 weeks, Walgreens was the only call I got.
