Well spotted, James. What a story this image has to tell. Look at the ground beneath their feet. The intensity of their gossip has melted the snow!

Wonderful that they have gathered around that gorgeously patterned tree. You have captured every element of the grey scale. The water threatens, yet the rope protects. So good ...

Bravo!

What a story this photo tells. Best to stand back away from that rope, to pray or share private conversation. The monotone is superb.

Your eye gets better and better James. This one's a keeper. People enhance the story we tell as photographers and artists.

I was impressed by this scene.

Two back figures.
Nothing needs the words.
Thank you for giving the best work.

Really thank you.

This extraordinary photograph could be the illustration for a hundred stories.

You and your camera lens seem to see pure beauty in the simple things that everyone else walks by. Stunning, James.

I'm wondering where you were to meet people dressed like that.. Your picture of december 26th was also strange.. Is it a historical village or something like that?
I like them anyway, and the strange feeling they give to travel across the time..

We never see scenes like this in England. I admire the composition too, the way the page is divided into distinct sections.

Seems like a scene from 'The Crucible'.
Terrific impact.
