Hi again, Just saw your comment on the copyright on my blog.

I love this shot. Great shadows and reflections. It's funny about the shoes. I see them tossed over high wires around my town and always wonder about that.
James, marvelous windows in Black and white! My Monochrome goes up on Tuesday late in the afternoon. James, come post for my Window Views blog - you have so may windows to show off...Window Views Oh and where is your SOOC post?
Like it too. Make me think of "Wag the dog", take a look at the song "old shoe" :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-gHOhiRZCM And then they toss up a lot of shoes like in your photo

What is it with the shoes?
Nothing like mono for nostalgia.
Just like old times! I never understood why people hang their shoes in telephone or electricity wires. Curious detail!
Cool.. I wonder who lost their shoes ;)
This is creative and what a great find James. Love the composition and it just funny in some way, it's the shoes. Wonder what it was doing up there.
This is a great photo, very striking. The shoes are a nice touch!
I wonder if the shoes were put out to dry! Superb picture
Someone went home barefoot after the party...
Nice catch. I love these kinds of photos, make you stop and wonder about what happened before hand.
Really like it James.
Neat photograph...I really like the reflections in the windows. Your title would work well for a book or a story.

This is so good! The reflections and shoes add so much interest to the photo. Terrific monochrome!
It confirms the old adage 'always look up'. Nice one

Love the shadows! And the shoes gave your photo that little extra "thing" :)

Great capture, James. The shoes mean drugs for sale, maybe some one will capture the dealer, too!
I agree, there is something nostalgic about this. Wonderful image.

I like the mysterious dark windows and the shadows of the wall.
Black shoes and the shadow of the branch excite my imagination.
It is a splendid work.
Love it.. great capture.

James, here's the correct link for Window Views
I gave it to you on your Newtown blog too! :)
Shoes on wires are very curious things, I see them often. But darn, never thought to take a picture. Now I will be looking up more. Fantastic shot.
Cool shot, I like the shadows as well. The shoes do bring back some memories.
Great capture in black and white indeed. The emphasis is pretty monochromatic of the olden days.
