Three Windows and a Pair of Shoes

I'm not sure why this caught my eye but it did. This scene gave me a sort of nostalgic feeling and black and white seemed like the way to go.

What is it with the shoes?
Nothing like mono for nostalgia.

Just like old times! I never understood why people hang their shoes in telephone or electricity wires. Curious detail!

Cool.. I wonder who lost their shoes ;)

This is creative and what a great find James. Love the composition and it just funny in some way, it's the shoes. Wonder what it was doing up there.

Someone went home barefoot after the party...
Nice catch. I love these kinds of photos, make you stop and wonder about what happened before hand.

Really like it James.

Neat photograph...I really like the reflections in the windows. Your title would work well for a book or a story.

Hi again,
Just saw your comment on the copyright on my blog.

I use Windows Live Writer to write by blog posts and there is a watermark tool in there that I use, if I remember to do so, to insert the copyright mark and initials. If you type(while holding down the alt key):

0169

on your keyboard that makes a copyright symbol.

That is how I do it.

I love this shot. Great shadows and reflections. It's funny about the shoes. I see them tossed over high wires around my town and always wonder about that.

Great capture, James. The shoes mean drugs for sale, maybe some one will capture the dealer, too!

Shoes on wires are very curious things, I see them often. But darn, never thought to take a picture. Now I will be looking up more. Fantastic shot.

Cool shot, I like the shadows as well. The shoes do bring back some memories.

Great capture in black and white indeed. The emphasis is pretty monochromatic of the olden days.
