this is a stunning capture.. perfect for this forum!
Hey..you did an excellent job..the leaves, that grass and the cabin! We do the rest!
I really love this photo, James. Is it in the same area as you shot the last week or two of theMonochrome photos? The cabin looks like the same one. Loved the way the leaf in the photo...I think it is just excellent.
BTW, I wanted to mention that the clouds in this photo are pretty neat too.
That is a cute log cabin! James, I hope you back is not hurting much, or not hurting at all. Take care.
I think you captured fall very well, even without the colors. I love the lone crunchy leaf caught in the grass. The whole picture is composed so well.
I so love this. That monochrome is just absolutely my favorite way to look at photos. Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo :)
I removed my first comment because it read differently than the way I intended.A monochrome Autumn will set our imagnations to work. I love the detail of the little cabin.Sunny :)
Amazing, I love the leaf - just hanging there!
I too think you have done it. Very good composition.
Wow James you captured this shot well... as for Autumn.. it's coming in fast here now. By the way... I live in Newton.... not Newtown, like you... we seem to have lost a 'w' along the way..;o)
Is this the little Valley Forge spot?
I love this picture! There's much nostalgy and melancholy in it, with the last rays of summers and the first fallen leave..A beautyful symbol of the passing -by time..
Hello, James. It is the cloud which several levels painted in some colors by a brush thinly. I seem to be able to as if might see it's colors.Always thank you.ruma
Little House on the Monochrome
wow..it looks nice..
Great "moody" shot. For those of us in the snow belt, we know this scene indicates that winter is coming.
Wow, I really like this photo! I love the colors of autumn but this somehow captures more than the colors, beautiful.Calico Contemplations

What a beautiful place! Excellent shot, James, as always from you.
To capture colours without colours is not easy! You made it!
You've captured fall in a black and white photo beautifully. I can just feel the autumn crispness in the air. Good job!
What a perfect autumn photo and yes, you managed it without color. Bravo.V
You know what? I feel like I'm hiding behind those leaves and grass and spying on the house... that's what this picture really makes me feel.. nicely shot monochrome!- Pixellicious Photos
More Valley Forge? James, I should join you shooting urban Philly and you should join me shooting Harlem and the Bronx. We'd have each other's back!
