A Lonely Bird

When I took this picture I didn't think that I would like it very much, but I do. I'm using it as my desktop picture. Other times I take pictures that I think I'm going to love and it's the opposite.

This is really strange...well let me explain. Remember the other day with the Mr.Ed posting? Well I took a picture today that is very similar to yours, however, I like yours much better! It was another one of those great minds moments! LOL
Happy Sunday.

James, I have the same thing happen. It's great to be surprised. Love this, too.

It´s that small birdy that makes it hopefull and lovely. Something funny about the whole photo even though it´s grey and looks sad at first glance.

This photo is all about nature and how it is supposed to be...that little bird looks so helpless but is quite secure in its place in that leafless tree! I really like this shot!

I guess it happens to all of us, I know it does to me too.
This is such a calm and peaceful scene... as he sits and sings his evening tune, contemplating what tomorrow will bring...
Simply divine, James

A good observation of what I think is a common phenomenon. One just can't tell about a photo until it's out of the camera and up on the screen.

I like this a lot too. Very dramatic!

Is peaceful and quiet. You never tire of it, and is a such ideal as a desktop photo.

I love this shot. Speaks to the time of year and also the respective sizes of the tree and bird.

And I thought I do love this too James. There's something that makes this photo so lovable. Will join the reflections if I can this week. Does it still go on until Sunday?

Love it. Amazing that a tiny creature like that stands out against the sky in a huge tree. Yet, I saw it immediately.

Very nice silhouette. I love the little bird. Part of the tree looks dead but the bird brings life to the picture.

I have the same dilemma. And those pictures that I love the most others don't care to look at and vice versa. It's a great title for this photo! :)

The picture makes me think of paper cut art. Strange and beautyful, full of poetry..Sometimes the camera offers nice surprises, this is one of them!
