Dallas Reflections

Here are three views of the Dallas Fairmont Hotel reflected in the Fountain Place building. I posted all three because I couldn't make up my mind. :)
This is my Weekend Reflections post. Weekend Reflections is a weekly meme that starts on Fridays and runs through Sunday. I host it on my main blog, Newtown Area Photo.
Please stop by and join the fun or just checkout some cool reflections. Any type of reflection photo is okay, water, glass, metal, bald head. etc.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Ooppsss...this is a great new meme. Will try to find something from my archives though and see if I can join this week. Beautiful structures and the reflections are awesome too.

  2. Looks like these were taken in Spring, those light greens. I spend the next 5 months wishing time away for Spring to get here. Not a lover of UK winters, too grey and wet.

  4. I like the way the lines in the glass edges make the reflection look all squiggly.

  8. James, you sure make an art of building reflections!
I looked this week to no avail. :)

    And Splendid blue sky.

  10. I like the middle one because of the wavy lines in the building reflection. But I also like the other two because it's nice to see the context of the area and I love the trees.

  11. That last one's a cracker, James. There's good contrast in the reflections and overall better definition. I might tone down the saturation a tad, but that's probably just me.

One other thing, I'd remove the tiny triangle of sky from the top right hand corner. I'd probably use perspective straightening -- if you have access to that.

Anyway, it's still a great shot!

  15. I don't normally like 'mirror' windows, but I admit they help to make superb pictures.

  19. I would not have been able to choose either. Those are some of the best reflections shots I have seen.
