When ya gotta go Ya gotta go

We were in a hurry to find the restroom in the NY Met museum when this strange character caught my eye. I snapped the picture without missing a step. The top picture was also taken on our way to the restroom. Vicki wasn't happy since I was in charge of leading us there after we both waited way too long, and I kept saying just one more picture. Soon all was forgiven.

  1. One of these days when you wet your pants for that perfect picture...your going to say..why didn't i just come back for the shot LOL. It's excellent. I don't know if you follow Jientje over at Heaven is in Belgium. She is a fantastic photographer. Anyway, She ruined her whole camera by dropping it in water trying to get a shot that was going to be brilliant LOL. Long story short, She gets a new camera and goes back to still get the shot LOL.

  2. I admire you both for "crossing your legs" so as to get these wonderful photos! I think I would have *blushes* embarrassed myself coz they're kinda scary! I'd rather have an empty bladder when observing... Sorry, enough said, probably too much information!

Your photos of Simba and Lucy are just great and I'm really both made up, and humbled, by your saying that you got the inspiration from me. I don't think I've ever inspired anyone before; thank you!

I'm now going to relax in Lucy's Lounge! :)XXX

  3. And a few years ago without the digital age upon us, many of us would not have even thought to capture that in a photograph! I think I would have gotten the photos ON THE WAY BACk tho. lol If you were not going back past them, I can see the "delay."

  5. Sounds a familiar scenario!

The chap in the lower photo is looking slightly quizzical - as if puzzled by all the interest.

  6. Well, I also think that those statues were able to wait for you coming back from the restroom; Statues are not known for moving, you know!..Ü

The first one looks like a kind of mermaid, strange, but pretty; But the second one has a real disturbing face!A strange king of ugliness that makes you feel bad when you look at it...

  10. I agree with Malyss and Léia. They would have waited, and I wouldn't want to go to the restroom alone after seeing these guys!

They're creepy but kind of goofy-looking too, especially the second.
