Sunset on the Mighty Mississippi

Endless love? I thought this older couple looked very romantic as they walked hand in hand.
I took these pictures with my old point and shoot camera in Memphis Tennessee in May of this year. I think this may have been the most beautiful sunset that I've ever seen.

James, these are beautiful! I love the first with the bridge silhouetted and the third with the sternwheelers definitely speaks Mississippi.

  11. Just beautiful, James! I love the one with the couple (how romantic!), but even more the one before that one actually where you can see the white in the boats.

  12. Standing behind the couple in the last photo - looking over their shoulders, as it were, gives a very companionable feeling.

  24. If that sunset is not the most beautiful, I don't know what is. It is simply gorgeous -- I especially love the first one.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. . . I am using an old computer presently at home and can't comment because there is no box showing SO I have to wait to visit your blog until I can use the rec. room computer. I made it finally! One day I am going to have enough saved for a new computer.

  25. Glorious sunset! Love all but my favorites are the first one with the awesome, funky bridge and the last one because it's so sweet. I hope my husband and I will also be like that in our old age. Happy weekend, James!

  33. A gorgeous, glowing sunset. The bridge and riverboats make the story much more than "just" a sunset (if there could ever be such a thing).

Great shots James. I like your bigger frame without compromising the quality of the pictures.
