Looking Up and Looking Down

Ever since I started taking pictures I've been looking up, down and all around for interesting things to photograph.
I'm still trying out different things with Photoshop Elements 7.
This is a shot looking up at a Newtown street lamp and another looking down at it's shadow. I obviously played around with the top picture, but I can't remember how I got it to look this way. In the top picture there is also the top of a metalic balloon.
The weather is supposed to be nice this week so I hope to take lots of pictures.

  3. Crazy photo! Psychedelic. I love messing with photoshop, I just never seem to have enough time. Amazing what you can do with it. I have to admit, I get to places with the effects and then can't remember what I did to get what I got. I am glad I'm not alone. ;)

  5. I love the fact that you cannot remember how you got the effect! I have been struggling with that exact same thing. It's almost comical for me...but, I love what you did even if you can't remember how to repeat it...

  6. I like them both. But I would love to see the original of the first one to see what the difference is and how you played around with it :)

  8. The top one is for me. It´s so unpredictable and brown skies are fun for a change.

  16. Fascinating views ... I'm wondering whether to invest in PSE7 or stick with version 6. My 'yellow' is at Sacred Ruminations and 'shadows' at Happily Retired Gal ;--)
    Hugs and blessings,

  20. I like the effect and the theme! Could be generalized to two views of the same subject, although I like the "me and my shadow" aspect. I would guess that you changed the hue on the first one and maybe saturation.
