Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth

This is an eye catching building in Fort Worth Texas. It looks like the angel has frightened some birds with her horn (Click picture to see). I will post pictures of it in color in the future.
"Bass Performance Hall The newest star in the opera-house firmament is Fort Worth's Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, which opened spring 1998. Two giant, hand-carved trumpet-playing angels on the façade announce its welcome presence in the middle of downtown.
Although not actually called an opera house, it most assuredly is one, designed in the grand old manner: a horseshoe auditorium surmounted by a dome that appears to float over trompe l'oeil clouds. A mixture of Beaux-Arts and Vienna Secessionist styles, it houses the Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, the Fort Worth Opera, and the quadrennial Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

It's a beautiful monochrome angel, James!
And because you posted the description of the interior, I want to see it too! Think you can sneak in for a photo? :)

Hi there. Beautiful pic. Would you possibly give me permission to use it on the cover of a CD? I sing with a women's chamber choir called Angelica (www.angelicavoices.org). This picture is perfect for our Christmas CD, which is called "Hodie! Hodie!" -- means "Today! Today!" (as in, "Today Christ is born.") This image perfectly portrays the joyous announcement of our title -- and it doesn't hurt that it's an angel, either!

Thanks!
